About Me

My Background:

I grew up in Westfield, New Jersey, with my parents and four siblings. I attended Georgian Court College and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Education. After teaching 5th grade in Chatham, New Jersey for three years, I attended Rutgers Law-Newark where I worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Alexander Brooks and won the David H. Flicker Law and Psychiatry Prize. During my summers I worked for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Angell Adams and Holmes (a law firm in San Francisco), and Prentice-Hall (a legal publisher).

I live on a small farm—where I operate a catnip, pine cone, lotus pod, and firewood business.
